Yael Neeman

Born in 1960, Yael Neeman grew up in Kibbutz Yehiam and moved to Tel Aviv at the age of 20. Neeman studied literature at Tel Aviv University and worked as an editor for various newspapers, magazines and publishing houses. Her debut novel, “Hayinu He'Atid” (We Were the Future) was published in 2011. It received great critical acclaim, sold over 40,000 copies, and was translated into several languages. This book was followed by 4 novels and collections of short stories, which enjoyed significant commercial and critical success.
